Thank you for being part of this hackathon. Find the official press release with the follow-up report HERE and a more detailed overview of the developed solutions here

Do you love challenges? Do you want to change the world and have a positive impact on people’s lives? Do you want to have fun in a team?

Well then look no further and join our first ever “Hackathon for a world without barriers” at TU Graz, where you work together in small teams (4-5 people per team) to develop innovative solutions for blind or vision-impaired people.  Your work will help them tackle their daily challenges.

What’s special about this jam is the fact that there will be blind or vision-impaired people present on site, with whom you can discuss and interact in order to better understand their needs. They are also available to test your developed solutions.

This is your chance to get inspired and create apps, products or games that will improve many lives! There is also a TOTAL OF 3000 EUROS PRIZE MONEY FOR THE WINNING TEAMS!!! (powered by Innovation Department Red Bull Media House).

We will provide you with some special gadgets such as Leap MotionAmazon Alexa and the Myo Armband but feel free to bring your own material or any tools you want to work with and find useful for blind or vision-impaired people.
